*What are Healthy Meals for Busy Parents (HMBP)?
HMBP are health-focused dinners designed to support busy families. Our meals include an optimal and balanced ratio of protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats. Our program is designed to fit the busy schedules that life demands with convenient, ready-to-eat meals delivered straight to your child's school. There’s no prep, cooking or clean-up, so you can spend more time with your family instead of in the kitchen.

*How are your meals different from other delivery services?​
We are proud to say that we are not a typical meal delivery service. We offer a specialized, high-quality product designed to meet the time and lifestyle demands of busy parents. All components of our meals are handmade in small batches using organic, locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible. Each and every meal is prepared to our highest standards with impeccable attention to detail and flavor. We are the premier meal delivery service for busy families in the greater Seattle area.
*When does the program begin?
The program begins on Monday, April 29th, 2019.

*How much do the meals cost?
The price is $55/meal and feeds up to a family of 4 (i.e., 2 adults and 2 small children). This price includes sales tax.

*Can I choose my menu?
Yes! Each night of the week you will have the choice between a vegetarian-based and a meat-based main dish. You can make your selection when ordering online. ​

*Do the meals need reheating?
Yes! All of our meals are ready-to-eat, but are much tastier after a gentle reheat in the oven or toaster oven.

*How do I start?
To sign up, fill out our contact form here. Once we receive your information, you'll be on our email list to receive updates and have first access to order online.
Orders and Delivery
*How do I order meals for my family?
Every Monday a new menu will be posted on our website for the following week. Place your order by Thursday at 5:00PM PST to ensure you receive meals for the following week.

*Is there a minimum order required?
At this time there is no minimum order required.

*What can I expect with my deliveries?
Each meal contains a balanced ratio of protein (vegetarian or meat-based), starch and a large side dish.
*When can I expect my deliveries?
Deliveries are made twice weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays to ensure you consume our food at its peak of freshness. On Monday you will receive a delivery for Monday and/or Tuesday dinners; on Wednesday you will receive a delivery for Wednesday and/or Thursday dinners.

*What is your return policy?
We do not offer returns or refunds.

*Where do you deliver?
We deliver to Birch Tree Academy in North Bellevue and Lake Hills.
*What time do you deliver?
Delivery times will vary depending on your child's school location. All of our meals are hand delivered to Birch Tree Academy between 4:15PM-4:45PM on Mondays and Wednesdays. ​

*Will my food stay fresh while in transit?
Yes! We deliver all of our food in insulated delivery bags that are kept cool with reusable ice packs. All meals should be refrigerated immediately once received and will stay fresh for up to three days after delivery.

*What should I do with the insulated bag and reusable ice packs after my delivery?
Please return insulated bags and reusable ice packs to Birch Tree Academy and we'll pick them up when your next delivery arrives.

*What should I do with my meal containers?
All of our meal containers are 100% recyclable, so please recycle them. ​​​
Nutrition
*Do you use 100% organic ingredients?
We have worked tirelessly to develop meals that are not only delicious, but highly nutritious. While you will never find refined sugars, GMOs or bad stuff in any of our meals, we do not use 100% organic ingredients. Our products are handmade in small batches with local, seasonal and organic ingredients whenever possible.​

*Do you accommodate food allergies or preferences?
At this time we are unable to accommodate most food preferences and/or allergies. Please keep in mind that we do not provide a product for medically necessitated diets or severe food allergies.
